Tarsch – an idyllic village in the heart of the Vinschgau mountains
Tarsch is a charming little village at an altitude of around 850 metres above sea level, nestled among the sunny orchards of the Vinschgau Valley in South Tyrol. With around 700 inhabitants, the village has retained its tranquillity, authenticity and tradition – ideal for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday surrounded by nature.
Just a five-minute walk from your accommodation, you will find everything you need for your daily needs: a small, well-stocked village shop, a cosy pizzeria, a snack bar with regional specialities and a bus stop from which you can easily reach the surrounding villages.
In the main town of Latsch, just 2 km away, you will find numerous other leisure activities: the Aquaforum water park, an ice rink for winter sports and various shops, cafés and restaurants to stroll around and enjoy. The Vinschger Bahn railway station, which you can reach by shuttle bus, is also located in Latsch and offers convenient connections to many other destinations in South Tyrol – free of charge with the South Tyrol Guest Pass.
In the village of Latsch, two cable cars also take you comfortably up to lofty heights.
